Family and friends came first for Mum. She had a love of music and singing and sang in a number of choral groups and the Church choir. Mum was a regular concert goer, enjoying shows at the APEX with her friends. She loved to travel and see the sights. She very much enjoyed social occasions with friends and family, including lunch and afternoon tea. Mum was a fast runner in her youth, proudly winning her school colours and was still able to run for the bus in her 70's.  She retained her interest and excitement in athletics and in her later years she enjoyed ten-pin bowling. Mum was an active member of the local Parkinson's Group holding office as treasurer and was a long time member of the W.I.
